Is Your Site Down?

You never know what the problem is when your site is down. It could be server related, it could be web page related, or it could be a little of both.
I will trace the problem quickly to it's source and then take whatever action is necessary to get things running again. If it means making calls to your host or re-writing web pages, that's what I'll do.
Some reasons websites crash:
Server Problem
There's not a lot you can do about this a server problem unless you are running your own server. Iin most cases, your host needs to fix their equipment ASAP to get your site back up. If you can't wait, we'll take a backup of your site and switch hosts.
If your site crashed because of a traffic overload, I can help you get your hosting account upgraded so that it won't happen again.
Domain or DNS/Nameserver Issues:
Did you forget to renew your domain? Does your domain all of a sudden say that it's parked or under construction? There are a lot of reasons this could happen. Account delinquency, hacking, and other sources can be traced and the problem fixed.
Ecommerce down?
Usually that means your security certificate expired or some settings in your store had wrong values saved in them. A fast and thorough review of your setup is usually all it takes to get things rolling again.
Site software frustration?
Wordpress, joomla, and other systems that let you build your site online have given people the power they need to do it themselves. But if you make a mistake that breaks your site, it can sometimes be time consuming and frustrating (to say the least!) to get things working again. Call me. Troubleshooting these kinds of things is my middle name.
